National Competencies

Müşteri Deneyimi Yönetimi ve Teknolojileri Derneği

Competence drafts regarding to the professions as “Call Centre Customer Representative (Level 4)” and “Call Centre Team Leader (Level 5)” have been arranged by our association. These drafts, which were discussed in the Professional Competency Board (MYK) Business and Administration Sector Committee meeting on the date of 10 February 2015, came into effect according to the decision dated 25 February 2015 and numbered 2015/10 of Professional Competency Board (MYK) Administrative Council.      

 

Issued Competencies:

 

Call Centre Customer Representative (Level 4)

Call Centre Team Leader (Level 5)

 

What is National Competence?

 

National Competence is a detailed certificate, which is put into National Competence Framework (UYÇ) with the approval of MYK and used for the evaluation of individuals, including the assessment and evaluation criteria as well as the information, skills and competencies that an individual should have.   

 

What are the benefits of National Competencies?

 

Used for learning and evaluation, competencies enable the recognition of common and informal education. It also enables the portability of credits and the improvement, as well as flexibility and diversity; thus, it facilitates the career mobility.

 

How will the Documentation Process in National Competencies be?

 

Organisations that aim to carry out examination and certification activities in accordance with the national competencies in question approved by MYK are required to be accredited in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17024 standard for the relevant competencies by other accreditation agencies that have signed multilateral recognition agreement within Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) or European Accreditation, and to fulfil the conditions specified under the Regulation of Professional Competence, Examination and Certification.

 

In accordance with the article 18, paragraph 2 in the Regulation of National Competence Examination and Certification, organisations which fail to fulfil the accreditation condition are required to make a pre-application to our Institution for authorisation in order to make certification referring to the national competencies within UYÇ during the accreditation process.

 

Following the completion of the accreditation process, organisations that have fulfilled the required conditions and thus authorised by MYK may issue MYK Professional Competence Certificates in accordance with the national competencies within UYÇ. 

 

Relevant Notification and Decrees;

 

Council of Ministers has determined the Examination Fees Covered by Unemployment Insurance Fund

 

MYK Professional Competence Certificate has been made Obligatory for 40 Vacations.

 

Examination and certification centres for the vacations as Call Centre Customer Representative and Call Centre Team Leader are not available yet and Competence Certificate is not required for these vacations.

 

Certification of Individuals for National Competencies

 

Following the authorisation of organisations for the national competencies in question, relevant institutions / organisations will begin examination and certification activities, and provide individuals with MYK Professional Competence Certificates for the competencies in question.
